Day Book 2-22-11

I am reading: The Story of the Vonn Trapp Family Singers. I'm not very far into it yet, but so far, so good.

Bella Stories: Bella was VERY bad this morning! She growled and snapped at Pooh, because he was getting too close to her rawhide. :/ This afternoon she grabbed Dad's underwear and socks and pulled them off the couch. At least she didn't chew on them like she usually does. Then she had an "energy burst" and went tearing around the family room, jumping on the couch like a mad-man. She keeps us on our toes.

I am grateful that: The Chaucer class I was in is over. It was a lot of work, and it is a great load off my back to be done. My final paper contrasted the parson and the monk; two very different characters who both supposedly loved God. The parson truly did, while the monk did not.

(We have a two week break before we start our next class Ivan Denisovich in March.

I am hoping to: Go to Ireland this summer or Prince Edward Island. Dad says I have a better chance at Prince Edward Island since we can drive most of the way there. I'd like to see Niagara Falls on our way. :)

I wish: Three things. First, that I was feeling better. I got sick on Sunday morning with a headache, body ache, sore throat, and congestion. I finally think my body is on the mend today. Mr. Nicholson and I were supposed to go up to the hill and ski today, but sadly due to my illness, it didn't happen. Second, I wish that I could be in the French class. The teacher said that it would be hard for me to catch up to the other students, since they've been studying for five months. I'd like to try and catch up over the summer, if I could. Thirdly, I wish I could type, since it would be so much faster to write down my thoughts. :)
