Here are some pictures of Elliott's 1st birthday party. :)

Dane :)

That was Elliott's very own cake! He ate almost the whole thing!

Lainey talking to me

Elliott had vanilla cake, while everyone else had chocolate.

Dismantling and destroying... and eating.

Evan after his bath. When Evan and Lainey saw Elliott eating with his hands they both thought they should do the same thing. So a bath was in order.

I knitted this ball for Elliott. Evan and Lainey were using it as a pillow, which works too.

Lainey and Grandma. (Aunt Mary Ann) Lainey's towel is a duck, so she likes to quack in it.

Me reading to Lainey. Evan is looking at one of Elliott's new toys.
It was a very fun party. I was sad that Dad and Josh couldn't come, since they were sick.
I am excited for: My birthday in less than two weeks! It's so hard to believe that this year I'll be a freshman in high school. Time goes by so fast. :/
I am enjoying: The warmer weather and my new iPhone. There are a couple of really fun games on the iPhone. My favorites are Fruit Ninja and Tap Tap Revenge. You slice fruit and avoid bombs on Fruit Ninja, and Tap Tap is like guitar hero.
Outside my Window: The snow is melting and the ice is cracking! Spring is on the way. Since our yard is so shaded, it feels like we have all the snow in town. Everyone else's snow is almost completely gone, with just a brown icy pile here and there. I always want to shovel the snow out of our yard and throw it onto the street so it melts.
I am hoping to: Go on the Tour the Mackinac Bike Trip this summer with a Bible camp. The only thing I'm nervous about is not being in shape enough to go. I don't want to pass out from not being in shape or from heat exhaustion. The longest day you have to bike is 70 miles!
I am wearing: I am still in my pajamas. They are so comfy I don't want to change out of them!
I am reading: One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Summer of the Swans, and a Hudson Taylor biography. Ivan Denisovich is really sad. I feel horrible for those poor prisoners. Summer of the Swans is also a sad novel. Sara's brother got sick and can't talk so he's considered handicapped. It's sad because in the middle of the night he went for a walk to find the swans, but went the wrong way and got lost. Hudson Taylor is a very inspiring. When he finally arrived in China he lived on 70 pounds a year whereas all the other missionaries lived on 700 pounds a year. Hudson Taylor trusted God in everything, and knew God would always take care of him.
