Outdoors: The rain came last night and today and washed away all the ice and most of the snow. All that remains are puddles and some snow debris. It has turned very cold! In the beginning of winter it takes awhile to adjust to the cold, but when summer comes, it takes no getting used to at all.
I miss the warm days of summer...riding my bike on the paper route especially. Since the ice came, I couldn't ride my bike anymore. :( Now today, I was privileged enough to be able to ride it, but I still had to veer away from the icky stuff.
I just came in from helping to put the trampoline (Bella's favorite toy) away. Dad has already put away the basketball hoop, and he also put away the white vintage crib, that used to be in the library, because our grand piano is coming sometime, and he doesn't want to mess with it after the snow comes. Putting away all the outdoor things is one of the biggest signs of winter's arrival.
I am listening to: Josh is singing Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars right now. It's one of my favorite songs. My favorite line is...if perfects what your searching for then just stay the same. I know, it sounds stupid if you just read it, but when you listen to it, it's WAY different!
I am wearing: My navy blue zip up sweatshirt, purple Mexican looking shirt with different colored stiching at the neck line, and jeans with purple butterflies on it.
I am creating: I have been knitting Christmas presents like CRAZY! I'm working on a festive red and green Christmas dishcloth and periwinkle blue and black hot pads. Both are turning out beautifully.
Looking forward to: Ballet tonight! Meaghan and I are both in the Nutcracker which is in a little over a week. I feel pretty confident with my part. I just carry around the head of the dragon in our Chinese dance. Meaghan carries part of the body directly behind me. The head is really pretty heavy. It's made of paper mache, so you wouldn't think so. :/
Meaghan and I are both bummed that our costumes are UNITARDS! They're sooo ugly! They should be called ugitards instead! Color is bright orange and hot pink tie die, which makes the hips look enormous! Blah!
