Day Book 5-5-11

I've been a little obsessed with the Royal Wedding this past week. Everything was so beautiful and perfect!

Prince William and Kate are such a cute couple. Loved Kate's dress....

I absolutely loved Joss Stone's outfit! She looked so adorable.

Birthday Supper

Cake time! My friend Liv came over after ballet to eat dessert with us.

The best birthday present ever! My first horse Monet. :)

She loves carrots, apples, and sugar cubes.

Such a big baby. So tall and gentle.

Outside my window: It's grey and rainy. A very sleepy sort of day. The spring flowers are

finally beginning to burst forth- the little white, purple, and yellow crocuses, and the

electrifying, cheery daffodils. The trees and grass are all stooping down with the weight of heavy water droplets.

I am listening to: The humming of the refrigerator. Dad's pen clicking on his book work.

Mom's footsteps. Bella's soft, rhythmic breathing. The sounds of peace.

I am wearing: A crimson, Aeropostale, bulky sweatshirt and dark denim skinny jeans. Skinny jeans are my favorite jeans for girls (or boot cut). I hate skinnys on guys! Gross.

I am grateful for: A warm house. Thick blankets. Good books. Bamboo needles and alpaca yarn. :)

I am inspired by: Betty Greene. She was one of the first WASPs. She never gave up when

things were tough. And she was a committed Christian who loved God. I'd love to learn how to fly planes and hot air balloons.

I'm looking forward to: A ladies retreat at Mackinac Island in a few weeks. This is my first time going. (I've been to the Island once before, just not a grown ups' retreat!) I'm going with my

mom, aunt, and cousin. It should be pretty fun.
